Bluefield Man Gets Life Sentence for Taxi Driver Murder

 

PRINCETON, W. VA. — A Bluefield man gets life in prison after he admitted shooting and killing a Cimarron Coach driver.

Dennis Sampson, Jr., 21, entered a guilty plea in Mercer County Circuit Court Thursday.

He was sentenced minutes later to life in prison with mercy which means he’ll be eligible for parole in 15 years.

Police said Sampson shot and killed Kerri Hager, 30, of Bluefield in May 2009.
