Cabbie wounded in attempted holdup

Buffalo cab driver shot

 

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo cab driver was shot overnight, but the wound was not considered life-threatening.

Bryan Richards, 50, of Buffalo, was shot at about 1:45 a.m. near East North and Herman streets by two men wearing black hoodies who attempted to rob him, officers said.

Richards was taken by Rural Metro ambulance to Erie County Medical Center, where he was treated and later released.
